You Should’ve Been in (my) Pictures

The year 2010 has been a huge and eventful one for me and my family, so you can expect to see me continue writing about it in the coming months (and perhaps years, it just depends on how boring/exciting 2011 turns out to be). For now, since I’m participating in the Kodak Gallery giveaway, I’ll share three of the highlights.

Skiing

I started the year skiing and I’ll end it the same way, gliding down the mountain through knee-deep powder. This shot was taken at Park City Mountain Resort, where I put in a record number of ski days (thanks to the season pass they so generously provided!). This season is off to a great start as well with multiple ski days already in the books at Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons.

Cruising

Thanks to Royal Caribbean I spent time on the two largest cruise ships in the world, Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas. Oasis launched first, making it the largest cruise ship in the world, and then Allure launched less than a year later…and bested her sister ship in size by a mere six centimeters! One of the highlights was when the two ships lined up side by side during Allure’s maiden voyage.

Driving

Almost to Kansas; in Kit Carson, Colorado.

If you’ve never gone on a spontaneous road trip, I highly recommend it. Mine covered 30 states in 15 days–one of the coolest adventures ever!
