WI-FI: NETZERO 4G MOBILE BROADBAND REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY ($800 PRODUCTS AND SERVICES)

by Troy Pattee

All internet, all the time. That’s pretty much my personal tagline these days now that I have the NetZero 4G Hotspot. In fact, I’m typing this post on my laptop as I drive in the fast lane at 70mph! (IMPORTANT NOTE: I’m not really driving down the freeway while using the internet—but the takeaway here is that I could.)

“Can’t you just use your smartphone?” you might ask. Of course I can use my smartphone, but when given the choice between typing with my thumbs and not typing with my thumbs, I will always choose the latter…or is it former?…Whatever…I’ll choose to not type with my thumbs.

The other night I was at an event. I made certain to ask beforehand if wi-fi would be available, and was assured that it would be. You can see where this is going, right? When I arrived there was no wi-fi available, no one on site to help fix it, and an ever-growing crowd of people filing into the room. As my fellow moderators begin to panic, sweat, and cuss I quietly plugged the NetZero 4G Hotspot into the USB port on my laptop, connected to the internet, and then went to the refreshment table and got a cookie while they continued to fret about the internet.

Just before the festivities began, I was overcome with pity for the others and offered to let them connect to my hotspot (up to 8 devices can be connected to the NetZero 4g Hotspot). Afterwards, I was lifted upon their shoulders and paraded around the room because of my brilliance and generosity (probably a slight exaggeration but the others were definitely appreciative).

As someone who hates to depend on the availability of wi-fi, a hotspot is something I have grown to love.

NetZero doesn’t require any contracts or commitments, and the prices range from free to$49.95 per month. The NetZero Mobile Broadband Network covers over 80 markets in the U.S. Click here to check for coverage in your area.

Two NetZero mobile broadband products are available. The NetZero 4G stick is $24.98 and the 4G Hotspot is $49.98.

NetZero compensated me for participation in this campaign. However, all thoughts, opinions,

and otherwise brilliant observations are my own.

Well, as someone who likes to travel with my family, but doesn’t like to pay for lousy hotel internet to upload all my awesome photos from our adventures, the thing I’d like best about a NetZero 4G HotSpot would be the ability to do such anywhere I am at!!

One of my favorite things about the NetZero HotSpot is that there is a free option and you dont have to get locked into a contract/commitment. That’s the best because I despise getting locked in to things.
