THIS IS WHY MEN HATE FAMILY PORTRAITS

The reason why family portraits have now been banned in our household.

Is there a dad anywhere out there that doesn’t dread Family Picture Day? In the small chance that there is, I present to him the picture shown above. This is one of those portraits that will (unfortunately) forever live in family lore. I can already hear the grandkids…”Remember the time they wore reindeer costumes? Let’s go look at it again!”

So, for the record, I did this to try to keep the family peace. I was against it. I am against it. And I will always be against it.

Unless my wife asks, in which case it was the best idea ever.
